I loved the card. Message inside was perfect (just like I requested) Only comment - the picture seemed too large for the card (glue showing on the side) Next time I will down size the picture. I have ordered many cards from fineartamerica and have been very pleased with the artist selection and quality of the art. Paul Cutright

Artist's Description

Titanic under construction. RMS Titanic was built between 31 March 1909 and 31 May 1911 for the White Star Line. Here, the bow is surrounded by scaffolding at the Harland and Wolff docks in Belfast, UK, where it and its sister ships were constructed. The largest ocean liner ever built at the time, Titanic was reputed to be unsinkable. However, during its maiden voyage it struck an iceberg in the North Atlantic on the night of 14 April 1912 and sank with the loss of 1517 lives. This photograph, from the Bain News Service, dates from April or May 1911, shortly before Titanic was launched. The name of the ship is visible at upper left.
